Curtis offers experience in petroleum refining, including operations support, process engineering, economics, and planning. Presently, his responsibilities are to support our PRISM™ client base.
During his tenure as a Process Engineer starting at CHS and continuing at Flint Hills Resources, Curtis has provided technical support for saturated gas plants, FCC, fixed bed cumene alkylation, and crude distillation units. His experience in this function includes process unit support, safety relief system analysis, refinery-wide turnaround support, and unit process modeling. After transferring to the Economics and Planning function, Curtis gained experience in LP model calibration for all conversion units and hydrotreaters, blending optimization efforts, metrics development and implementation, component supply and distribution optimization, and automation of the dynamic component balance models using VBA coding.
