Andy has over 20 years of international experience with projects in the upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas sectors. He specializes in project management and has extensive experience in engineering, construction, and commissioning management for challenging and complex international mega projects. Combining a solid technical background with a deep understanding of managing and optimizing project delivery work processes, he has led global teams for the turnkey delivery of major projects, including LNG plants, hydrogen plants, and Energy from Waste plants, and remote operation of plant-fleet assets. Andy also has working experience of various onshore facilities and has assessed design challenges for an offshore facility. His global experience includes a wide range of complex projects in the U.S., Europe (including the North Sea), Georgia, China, Malaysia, and Uganda.
Prior to joining Baker & O'Brien, Andy worked for CB&I (now McDermott) as the Project Engineering Manager on several major international projects, including: a FEED package for a proposed LNG project in Canada and the facilities on a pipeline project in Georgia. His expertise in construction and commissioning was augmented with his recent role as E&I Construction and Commissioning Manager for the Cameron LNG project in Louisiana, U.S. As Manager of European Project Operations, he delivered operational improvements of Air Products and Chemicals' portfolio of more than 100 plants across Europe.
Andy is a Fellow and Chartered Chemical Engineer in the UK.
