Rob Donnell currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Baker & O’Brien, Inc., and serves on the firm’s Board of Directors. Rob has over 30 years of experience in project management for a wide variety of international and domestic projects. Rob worked over 20 years for a major international engineering and construction (E&C) company. Rob began his career in the areas of project management and controls. He later became involved in the development of major E&C project proposals before being promoted to Managing Director in charge of independent consulting services where he was involved in the technical and economic analysis of over 75 significant new project developments in all parts of the world.
Since joining Baker & O'Brien in 1999, Rob has continued performing due diligence, project monitoring, completion certification, and operations review for project finance transactions on several world-class projects in Brazil, China, Egypt, and Indonesia. He has also been active in providing technical and commercial support to litigation-related construction contract issues and insurance claims.
Rob’s strong technical background, combined with his experience in business management and commercial areas, gives him unique insights into both E&C project development and contracting, as well as financing issues. Rob has also served in London as Managing Director of Baker & O’Brien (UK) LLP, which coordinates the firm’s services with clients located in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
